“nice & quiet beach”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 6, 2014

a little more upscale beach so more expensive the the nearby beaches like arambol. good shacks but only a few unlike vagator & baga. clean beaches. we stayed at marbela beach which is the worst mistake....don't ever stay there.

“There are better beaches than Morjim in Goa”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed December 30, 2013

It was a pretty so-so beach. It was better than Arambol but not better than Candolim/ Sinquerim beach. Not a white sand, water transparency is not much, so overall pretty much an average beach, though you get a mixed crowd there and you can enjoy your meal on shacks.

“A non commercial beach”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed December 4, 2013

Morjim beach is quiet with no sellers, sea is usually pretty calm up there, this is where the turtles make there nests. About 12 shacks on the beach, very peaceful.

This is almost 40 mins drive north from Baga Beach but its one of the few virgin beaches of over crowded Goa beaches. Fabulously blue water and awesome lagoon like water bodies. It is mostly frequented by Russians but very safe place to be.

“Surely the best beach of North Goa”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 5, 2013

Unlike the other beaches in Goa like Baga, Calangute, Arambol, etc, this beach is not very commercialized and hence is very clean and clear. There are a few shacks around on the beach as well.
The water literally reflects over 50 shades of blue! One can easily spot myriad fish all the way up to the coast itself. Beware of loose ground and steep slopes in the sea. There are also many migratory birds and olive ridley turtles that can be spotted at the right time of the year.
One can also spot many foreigners sun bathing on this pristine beach.
Definitely visit this beach for a truly beautiful Goan experience!

“Fish and Feni in Morjim”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 25, 2013

The beach is idyllic, less commercialised then any other beach in Goa. One of the best shacks to visit is Fish and Feni, great owners and very accommodating, nothing is too much trouble.
