I was torn between giving a rating of 3 or 4, decided with 3. I was looking forward to this place as it has been ‘hyped’ up very much. The pub is beautiful outside and in and very spacious. I like the fact the adults without children can separate themselves with parents and their kids – that is a brill idea. Me having a 2 year old got put on the side with children and much to my surprise there was a free children’s area that my daughter loved and I could not get her out! My partner and I noticed average meals on the menu before ordering our pub grub. I got my daughter a small plate of cavery – which I then wished I got because it looked gorgeous compared to my chilli con carne, which was still nice. However, queing up for the cavery we was stood there a good 15 minutes which is not good when holding a child. There where plenty of people in the kitchen but not serving? The best part was obviously the desserts people brag about – we got a cakeaway. Nice place but not as brilliant as expected.
