The service was outstanding, the staff was fantastic! The facility was clean, wide spread and well taken care of. There are all kinds of things you could do within a 5 km radius (water park, water ski, scuba diving, magic castle, Go-Card, shopping, rental car service,...)
The ocean is crystal clear and even in October still warm (24°). At night the sea is warmer than the air - check it out!!! ;-)
I'm usually more a bus-campgroung kinda person and not used to staying in a 5* hotel, but if every hotel had a staff and a friendly vibe like the palladium I would definitely turn into a hotel-vacationist!!!
MARIETTA YOU ROCK!

Ladies and Gentleman
we visied this hotel in august 2013 for two weeks.
i order room with sea views and we paid extra for this, but when we enter in the room understand we are duped.
This room is situated in the basement of the hotel and the views is to some bushes.
We back at the reception and i asked to speak with the supervisor.
Afther 5 minutes of waiting met Mes. EVI [---]. Mrs.EVI [---] welcomed us with a fake smile and he repeated a couple of times like a broken cd ״we are fully booked, but if you look over the bushes can see the sea"
I asked to speak with the director of the hotel but was impossible.
During two weeks i tried to talk with the director of the hotel Mr.BABIS [---] but it is busy with garbage collection from the hotel's garden.
This hotel is ok but the hotel management is bad.
We pay a lot of money to have a beautiful vacation but this people EVI [---] and BABIS [---] ruined our vacation with their behavior of dictators.
Now i have a message for the owner of the hotel:
you have a beautiful hotel but the leadership is very bad. To take forward the good reputation of the hotel do you have to think to make a change in leadership.

Dear Valued Guest,

I would like to thank you for the time you devoted in providing feedback concerning your stay. As the most awarded 5 star hotel on the island of Rhodes, I can assure you that quality of service and guest satisfaction is of paramount importance to us. I am surprised, and disappointed at the same time, to hear that you did not enjoy your stay with us. As you can tell from our other reviews, this type of experience is extremely rare for our guests.

Regarding the points you raised, it is really surprising to describe your room as located “in the basement” given that in our hotel there are no rooms at this level. There are rooms at ground level, and these rooms are allocated, together with those at higher floors, on a first come first served basis unless there is a specific request during reservation.
Our executives have several years of experience in demanding 5 star environments and I can personally assure you that they have a proven record of consumer orientation skills. However I am willing to investigate further your comments about the response of our front office manager once you will provide me with your full name and details of stay so to enable me assess our incidents’ log files. For this reason please email for my attention at info@rodospalladium.gr Our hotel General Manager operates an open door policy and is available for guests at several instances. Unfortunately given your anonymous review I am not in a position to assess if our GM was available at the specific instance, however a Guest Relations Executive and a Duty Manager are always available for guests until late evening hours.

Once again thank you for your feedback. In case your travel plans bring you again to Rhodes I hope you will provide us with another chance so to evidence that your experience was an exception to the standard.

Kind regards,
John Fotis

Our stay at the Rhodos Palladium was superb to be fair. We arrived via transfer by coach from the airport (a 75 minute journey stopping at least 15 hotels before getting to ours) into a magnificent lobby, immaculate, marble and pale tones everywhere, large sofas and lovely orchid plants. We did so after the restaurants closed (10pm), our travel agent had provided the wrong arrival time, so there was no food available, nor was the kitchen able to provide us with anything other than an additional fruit basket. There was an bottle of Greek (very palatable) white wine to greet us in the room. Friendly staff, who do not hang round for tips or make you feel uncomfortable. The room was spotless, a balcony (room 1426) which overlooked the pool area. There were twin beds, placed together - plenty of room for 2 people. There is a fridge, with a small supermarket on site, where many items can be purchased at reasonable prices. There was plenty of storage facilities, a table and two separate chairs to sit on, and similar furniture on the balcony to sit out. The bathroom had a bath with a shower over the bath, and a second separate shower. Room service cleaned the room every day, and changed the beds, and towels if needed. Toiletries (shampoo, shower gel and body lotion) were provided and replenished every day.
Some people say this hotel is in the middle of nowhere; actually it is about half a mile from a little shopping complex, with a restaurant (Ilios Bar) we walked to on the first night when no food was available. The staff were lovely, and the food was delicious, well worth a visit if you are not on Half Board at this hotel. The supermarket here has excellent prices (we found it hard to match these anywhere), and it was cheaper to buy wine here, put it in the fridge and drink it before and after evening meal, and save a fortune! Right outside the hotel is a bus stop, one on either side of the road. You can get a bus to Faliraki (one euro and 5 minutes away), Rhodes (Euros 2.3, 25 minutes away) and Lindos will cost you five Euros and takes about an hour. Also on site is car rental, so if you prefer you can do this (around 25 Euros a day depending on the vehicle you hire).
People on Trip Advisor have complained about the food, my genuine belief is if you are unable to find something you enjoy at these buffet style menus then you are extremely difficult to please. Half board entails breakfast and evening meal (breakfast served between 7 and 10, dinner 18.15 to 21.00). The list for breakfast is endless, it consists of all manner of hot and cold food. There is a chef who will cook your eggs, omelettes, pancakes etc, as well as carve from a large smoked salmon or give you Gravadlax. There is a hot selection, which has grilled tomatoes, bacon, sausages, omelettes, fried eggs, scrambled eggs, hard boiled eggs, mushrooms, onion rings, croquettes and beans. Then there is 7 different cereal, another table with 5 different types of dried fruit, 4 types of Greek yogurt (plain, plain light, strawberry and mixed fruit), there is nutella by the bucket full and also honey. Cheese (at least 6 different varieties) and a selection of cold meat. There is a salad bar, consisting of fresh olives, cucumber, tomatoes, onions, red and green peppers and lettuce (yes some people actually eat lettuce for breakfast). There was a fresh fruit selection which included yellow and red melon, kiwi fruit, bananas, and also 4 fruits in different syrups. There we fresh made jams on offer, butter and margarines and also at least 10 different breads.
There is a similar smorgasbord in the evening. The buffet is served every night, however on 5 of the evenings, the hotel offers you the choice to order from three dishes they serve each of these nights. These dishes are placed under glass domes (one of each dish) outside the restaurant so you can see if you fancy it, prior to ordering it. There was always one meat, one vegetarian and one fish dish. The buffet in the evening was as equally impressive as the morning. It consisted of a cold food starter, ranging from salmon, smoked mackerel, prawns, fish mousse, to a salads, olives, cheeses, meat dishes, vegetable dishes. Each night there was buttered pasta with either a bolognaise sauce, or a tomato sauce. Parmesan always served. The vegetables varied (sometimes aubergine, dauphinoise potatoes, roast vegetables, rice, tabbouleh, and always a chef carving some kind of meat, chicken, beef and duck were on offer (duck a little bit too tough). Two soups were on offer, then a host of different desserts, they had a Greek night one night where the emphasis was on Greek food. There was a lady serving ice creams (5 varieties) from a freezer in the middle of the dining room. The food really was excellent, and if I had to make one criticism it was always warm, but never hot. They did have to cater for a lot of people, and the food was replenished all the time, never getting empty.
The waiters were friendly and helpful, and it never appeared to be too much trouble for them. There was also an indoor swimming pool and spa with a host of treatments, again all spotless with friendly staff.
We went one week before the end of the season, so enjoyed the peaceful wind down. This part of Rhodes was definitely getting ready to pack up and unwind at the end of the season. However, that suited us better, as I imagine the hotel being a very rowdy and potentially different vibe than when we were there.
We went on trips to Faliraki, Lindos and Rhodes. In season you can get boats between places, and the reps will tell you how to get onto excursions. It is cheaper to go into Rhodes and then find yourself a boat off to Marmaris etc. Unless reading and sun is for you, you would tire of the facilities here after a couple of days.
The resort is big; we stayed in the main body of the hotel which made it accessible to everything. There is free wifi in the hotel, and I could access this from my room most of the time. I could imagine this getting slower if there were more people trying to use it, but I have no complaints. I could access this in the main lobby and out at some of the pool and bar areas.
The pool and the pathways and areas outside are all immaculate. There is very little to fault about the appearance of the hotel. There are a couple of outside bars, and a restaurant where you can purchase food. There is a variety of cocktails, beers wines etc and lots of choice. We had some potatoes skins on the last day with mayo and they were lovely.
For the money, I would imagine you would find it difficult to get a better deal with the food included. Yes you have to pay for drinks, but you can buy them from the small supermarket attached and drink them in your room. The beds could have been a bit softer, but really, that and possibly a shower that sometimes didn't run from hot to cold. But overall a super place to spend a week.

I was one week in the Rhodos Palladium. The hotel is in Faliraki, so that we had a good connection to the City of Rhodos or to Faliraky city. We had a car for 3 days, so that we visited also Lindos and Prassonissi. I couldn't stop to take picturs about the beautiful view from our room, about the wonderful beach & about the view you have, when you eat breakfast on the terrace ! *-* It's a really good hotel and there are very friendly people, who talk a lot of languages. The only thing, that disturbed me a little bit, was the hairdryer, because he got to hot also when you needed him only 10 minutes.
For the rest was everithing really good and the buffet was great ! You should visit this hotel !

Returned from Rodos Palladium on 02.10.2013 after our 15th.visit, on 03.10.2013 booked again for same period next year. All aspects of hotel are first class, position, staff. comfort, cleanliness, and food. The outlook from reception/ lounge are out of this world. The staff cannot do enough for you and whatever you ask for(if indeed there is anything) will be done without delay. The bedrooms are very clean and comfortable with ample storage space, a fridge, T.v.,and safety deposit box, not to forget the all important kettle with complementary tea bags, coffee, sugar and milk. What more can I say, try it and enjoy a wonderful holiday|

After a long summer we decided to spend a few days in Rodos Palladium. This was a good choice as we were looking for a place to relax away from the busy summer season. The hotel was very attentive to our needs and we truly enjoyed our vacation. We were upgraded upon arrival and our suite was rather large with all the amenities you would expect from a luxury hotel. I would recommend this place for a nice vacation !

The Hotel is simply superb - we were upgraded to an excellent room (6012) on arrival and all of the staff in the Hotel from reception/maids/restaurant/bar/animation/gardeners/management were quite simply superb. Nothing was too much trouble for them and they performed all their tasks with a smile and gave us the impression that we really mattered.
The hotel was spotlessly clean in all aspects from public areas/room/restaurant/grounds/pools and the food was first class. The buffets were incredible in size and choice of food and the served meals always had 3 choices for main course and were excellent.
The drink prices were fair and the evening entertainment in the main bar was varied and enjoyable for our tastes. All in all we had the most enjoyable week at a great hotel with the best staff we have encountered anywhere we have been in the world including most of Europe, Africa. North and Central America. We would highly recommend it.
