“Do not miss Spa and dinner!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 15, 2012

We stayed for a wellness weekend. The hotel is definatelly luxurious, clean, quiet, very helpful staff, perfect scent in halls, bidet in our room, just lovely details. Even though we came when the castle's cellars were closed, the receptionist organized a visit there for us.
The spa we went to was about 3 mins from hotel but definatelly worth trying. It was a perfect relaxation, I loved the 'funny showers'!! Absolutely relaxing experience.
And definatelly amazing dinner at the hotel's restaurace! It's a gourmet experience! Do not miss a dinner there! And definatelly try a french toast for breakfast, it was lovely! For dinner we had salmon and spinach salad, all done perfectly.

Except the hotel, I recommend these places in Litomysl: restaurace U medveda http://www.umedveda.cz/, Cocho Caffe for home made chocolate delicates http://www.choco-cafe.cz/, restaurace Karlov for a great Czech traditional cuisine http://www.karlov-litomysl.cz/ or Cafe Underground for a 'student like' local feeling.

Litomysl is a very attractive old town. Hotel is close to the centre and everywhere is within easy reach. It is located one street behind the main street and so it is very quiet and you can sleep well. Rooms are in style with the name as if they were about to make a film in your room. Really well done ! Can't comment on the hotel food except breakfast which was of a high standard. The park / gardens behind the hotel should not be missed ! Stayed here because I was with a work group of about 50 and we attended a party at the historic building out the back of the hotel.

Great place for a stop over if you have a spare day to look around.

The restaurant with a terrace on the roof is great. Service in both hotel and restaurant are very good. The park / gardens behind the hotel should not be missed !

Stayed at this modern hotel in July 2012 with a group of singers. The Hotel was spotless and in a lovely position in the town. The staff on two occasions cartered for 50 members of our choir with a barbecue and buffet ,the food was amazing ! Some of the best I have had in any Hotel. My only
Criticisms would be that the bedroom windows have to be opened with a long pole as they are
Velux and are in the sloping ceiling, also the out side of hotel has cobbles, difficult to pull a case
Over ! But I would recommend this Hotel to any one who enjoys good food.

Room Tip: Single rooms get booked quickly when you travel with a group.

Have stayed a couple of times whilst visiting family; the hotel is situated in a delightful, quiet part of town with access straight into the castle gardens. The hotel has tremendous character and has been restored to a really high standard throughout. Rooms are all different and always spotlessly clean. Dining has always been superb.
A real gem of a hotel and good value too.

Room Tip: Apartments look interesting - a bit pricey though!

Lovely hotel. Modern but with a unique character with photographers' lamps and interesting artwork. Clean spacious rooms. Super comfortable beds. Nice, friendly reception staff. Set in a historical building, lovely setting near monastery gardens and chateau. Just behind the main square but on a quieter road. Food in the restaurant is lovely, I had some very nicely cooked local trout. Get to breakfast early though as supplies which had run out weren't replenished. I could have easily stayed another night and would go back in an instant!
