My father and I were steered here by the lovely woman running the bar near the station in Carentan, she made a phonecall, and the restaurant provided a driver to take us there. Looks unassuming from the outside, but inside it is nicely decorated with a lovely ambience / atmosphere. The waitress, Caroline was excellent, friendly and helpful when we struggled to understand the menu. We were stunned at the size of the steaks, as well as the taste. The buttered potatoes were delicious as well. They have Heineken on tap (always a good thing), and Caroline pointed us towards a delicious red wine, the St Nicolas. The staff and locals were friendly, and after our meal we were kindly driven back to our hotel. Cannot rate this restaurant highly enough. Many thanks from the Scottish Soldier and his Dad!
