“Excellent for all weathers”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 26, 2013

Visited with family and preschool children. Great place to visit even in dodgy weather as they have an extensive indoor soft play area with a separate space for under 5's. Café serving drinks and snacks. Ball pit, trampolines, slide, pony rides (costs extra) and all manner of climbing equipment. Outside there are more slides, sandpit area and other playground equipment to use.

If I can be slightly picky - it's not always that easy to negotiate for an adult if a child gets stuck up the top! Restaurant served the usual child's meals, jacket potatoes, chips etc. A good place to while away a few hours.

“Great Place”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 26, 2013 via mobile

Well being a typical British holiday we couldn't guarantee the weather. Therefore one day when it was pouring rain we decided to go here. Initially we thought that the price was a bit expensive. However when we found out what was here we didn't mind. A great thing about this place is that there additional covered buildings with either more animals for children to look at or in the case of my 3 year old a massive soft play area at no additional cost. Whilst we were there we decided to play a couple of games of ten pin bowling (price a little bit expensive) and eat (reasonable prices). All in all a good family venue and worth a visit.

“Excellent indoor play area”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 24, 2013

Trethorne is a great day out for good and bad weather days. Outside there is a large play park and animals. Inside is a massive play area plus other indoor barns/areas with animals and alternative play areas including dodgems and bowling. Not too much distance between the buildings though if it is raining :) Can be a little expensive if you were just wanting to pop in for an hours play indoors though, would be great if they done a locals rate for 2 hours :)

“Family visit with other grandson.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 19, 2013

We visited Trethorne Leisure this afternoon with my 16 month old grandson William. Staff were really good, particularly in the "in touch centre". There is loads to do for all ages. The whole attraction is well looked after despite some of the equipment being quite old. It is well maintained. There are several new attractions as well. Plenty to do in good or bad weather.

“Bowling and food I can eat”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 18, 2013 via mobile

I came here for my birthday with 10 friends for the evening. It was great they were happy to advice on gluten free options on the menu and check stuff this is always reassuring. The food is such good value too. We had a great night and thank you for being able to cater for gluten free means I can come more often and eat with you like I used to!
