“Simply the best.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 18, 2013

We have just returned from our FOURTH five night stay at Richard & Jane's exceptional B&B. Yet again, we had our own suite and a very special dinner each evening, cooked by Jane from fresh local produce where possible. Each morning after the full English breakfast, Jane offers a menu for the evening of three options per course. All can be recommended and the choice comes down to each person's individual likes. In the very unlikely event of there being nothing to your taste, you can liaise with Jane for an alternative.
Thank you very much Richard & Jane for looking after us so well and we look forward to staying with you again next year.

Room Tip: There is only the one suite ! So book early.

As always, it was a pleasure to cook for such appreciative guests who really enjoy their food, and who this year also enjoyed wonderful weather for their walks. We do value your input and the trouble you take in reviewing us each year and hope to see you again next year.

My husband and I stayed here for one night on our way to Padstow. We loved our stay and wished we had booked longer! The suite is beautiful and has everything you would need. We opted to have dinner cooked by Jane which amazing, the best dinner we have had in a long time. Same goes for breakfast, I couldnt really make the most of it as I was still full from the lovely dinner we had but my husband really enjoyed the full english breakfast! We will definately return and cant recommend this b&b enough its fantastic!

We have stayed here on a couple of occasions & can't recommend it enough. It is the best B & B I've stayed at and is certainly hotel standard. One night is never enough - the food is heaven & its so well kitted out for families. The owners are charming and very hospitable. There's plenty of space & the attention to detail is fantastic. Definitely try the homemade cookies ! The first time we made the mistake of eating out elsewhere and had a very average meal. We were gutted at our decision when we had breakfast the next day so the second time, we made sure we ate in !! I can't praise it hghly enough - lovely people, great food, fantastic accommodation & are definitely going back again. My children can't wait to go back too & were disappointed we only had one night - it's not enough.

A fantastic home providing a wonderful B&B service. Unfortunately we only stayed for one night while attending a wedding in the town and would have truly loved to stay for longer. The accommodation was first class, the cooked breakfast done to perfection and the service and welcome was warm, friendly and very efficient. Jane and Richard run what my wife and I have decided is the best B&B we have ever stayed in. We look forward to a return trip for a longer stay. Fantastic

Room Tip: If you need a pool - drive to Bude and dip in the sea. If you need a fitness centre take your traine...

We were in Launceston for a wedding and needed somewhere that could accommodate myself, my wife and our three young children for just the one night. We really struck gold when we booked a room here.

We had the entire top floor to ourselves, which consisted of two bedrooms and a living area for the grown ups after the children have gone to bed. The breakfast was fantastic - even our fussy little ones cleared their plates.

I wish we could have stayed longer. We're planning another trip to the South West this Summer - this will definitely be on our list of places to stay.

Unfortunately my stay was brief and work related but this place is a real find and I certainly will be back if possible.
Everything was first class and so comfortable and my hostess charming.
The food was excellent and I had the best night's sleep I have had away from home ; in fact I wanted it to be my home.

Beechgrove is a lovely quiet b&b the owners Richard and Jane go out of their way to make you feel welcome and special. They are very accommodating with the dining and the food is truly wonderful. Suite is immaculate very well laid out, lots of hot water great to have use of fridge and small sitting room in day time. We definitely hope to use again in the future and would highly recommend. Thank you.
