Pandanus resort has a very nice location, beautyful garden, and nice big pool. Mainly Russians, Brits and Germans on package tour holidays.
Very far from Mui Ne City, and not within walking distance to restaurants and shopping facilities.
Pandanus has two restaurants, one worse than the other. Very poor language and service skills from the staff. The Blue Lagoon Restaurant is a very nice open room, with beautyful decor etc, but both local as well as international dishes is nothing less than a disaster, and even simple questions or requests are answered with a stupid smile, but no action.
Breakfast buffet was invaded by armies of insects.
The General Manager is American, and apparently blind and/or deaf.
I checked out three days earlier as planned, just to move into the much nicer Cham Villas
- Official Description (provided by the hotel):
- Built in 2004 within a ten hectare lush tropical garden on a three hundred meter long beach, the Pandanus Resort has a large range of facilities and a variety of different accommodations, all designed to make your stay relaxing and enjoyable. Adjacent to the beach is a huge free-form pool, surrounding an island covered with palm trees. The buildings are designed to complement, not compete with the natural surroundings. The beach is serene and disturbed only by an occasional fisherman in a round pitch basket, or a wind and kite surfer. ... more less
