“Love it here”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 22, 2013

I have stayed at the Quest Ivanhoe on many occasions over the past three years and I have always found it to be an enjoyable experience.
As always, it's the staff that can make a stay enjoyable and the team at this hotel do an excellent job of doing just that.
I am always made to feel at home and treated more like a friend than just another customer.
I request to stay here, through my work, and find it an ideal location for what I need. I dislike staying in the city, however, should you wish to travel there the train station is just across the road and it is just a short trip to Flinders Street Station.
I generally stay in a larger self-contained unit where I can cook for myself, however there are many different restaurants just a short stroll up the street and Woolworths can be found directly under the building. There are also some excellent delicatessens and bakeries are in the immediate area.
I would recommend staying here to anybody and look forward to my next visit there.

The Quest Apartments at Ivanhoe offer a pleasant, affordable base for stays in this lovely part of Melbourne. The owners and staff are friendly and welcoming, and the rooms are very clean. We have stayed here twice and even with teams of sportspeople staying, the place has been quiet at night. The Ivanhoe train station, linking to the city, is just a short walk away. There are a number of good cafes and restaurants nearby. This is a good choice of accommodation for those on a budget- ie most of us! :)

We stayed here for a week in March and were quite pleased. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Our one bedroom apartment was fine for our short stay purposes and the location on the "main street" of Ivanhoe was very convenient. Groceries next door and some decent little restaurants nearby. The wood fire pizza place next to the Subway was EXCELLENT. If you need to be in Ivanhoe, this is a great location and very reasonably priced by Melbourne standards.

I have stayed at the Quest Ivanhoe a number of times over the past few years. The most recent stay was last week (26 March 2013). I have always found the Quest to be a good place to stay; the rooms a comfortable with kitchenettes and the bathroom has all the necessities. The rooms are also very spacious. There is a TV and a DVD player with a selection of Foxtel channels - mainly sports though. The staff are friendly and the Quest itself is well located in terms of acces to restaurants and there is also Woolies vey close by. The Quest itself does not offer breakfast but the cafe immediately next door does and in my experience the food has always been of a high quality.

I stayed in the one bedroom apartment and was impressed with everything. The space was very roomy and nicely laid out. I got a corner room so the living room had two walls of floor to ceiling windows and a sliding class door onto a HUGE balcony with table and chairs (in addition to the table and chairs inside the unit)! The bedroom also had a floor to ceiling window. Lots of light! The apartment was clean and nicely decorated and had everything I looked for. The furniture all looked and felt clean (unfortunately I haven't always experienced that in apartment type hotels). Both the bedroom and the living room had remote control A/C.

The location is also good. There were lots of restaurants near by, a grocery store next door basically, and a train station within walking distance. Bought a day pass to go into Melbourne. No problems getting there and back. Hotel staff was super friendly and helpful. Highly recommend!

Room Tip: Ask for a corner unit and you might luck out with a large balcony and LOTS of light!

5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 1, 2013

I stayed at Quest Apartments in Ivanhoe for two nights, 30th and 31st December and found it to be an excellent choice. The gentleman who checked me in on my arrival could not have been more helpful. My room was spotlessly clean and had every possible thing I could have needed or wanted including a kitchenette and plenty of wardrobe space. The location was really convenient, just a short walk from the train station, restaurants, cafes, Woolworths, Coles, boutiques and many other stores. Despite New Years' Eve traditionally being noisy, I found the apartments to be very quiet and slept like a log in the comfortable bed. I'd recommend Quest Ivanhoe for anyone wanting a nice place to stay that's not right in the middle of town. Anyone going for business to the northern suburbs would find it particularly handy.

5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 18, 2012

We stayed at Quest Apartments in Ivanhoe for 10 nights and found it to be very good. Its reasonably new and our apartment - a 1 bedroom - was very clean and modern. We were fortunate in having a balcony. Although on a main road, there was very little traffic noise. Excellent location for us being 15 mins from the city and near two train stations. Great local shops and cafes, and a very handy woolies next door.

We have stayed at other Quest apartments in Melbourne in the past as we find them pretty good value if staying more than 3 nights. But this one has been the best.

Room Tip: Ask for a balcony room if you like to sit outside for meals or coffee.
