“Wedding venue, I was accompanying the photographers & a guest”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 28, 2012

It was faultless, super wedding venue. Accommodation was excellent, food superb. All the staff were friendly and pleasant. I was very impressed when booking in there was already 2 staff dealing with new guests and I was called to the desk by a third member of staff, fast and efficient. Having been at loads of weddings I believe Corick House to be up there with the best.

Room Tip: It will be even better when the swimming pool is up and running

We held our wedding in Corick House recently, it was fantastic. Our guests travelled from all over Ireland and were highly impressed. The venue is stunning and the day of the wedding ran like clock work, the food was excellent and served with military precision, very impressive. The staff were all very friendly and a great day and night was had by all! Thanks a mill Corick House for making our day so special. Also a special mention to Stephen Mallon who did an amazing job with the flowers, the Chapel and top table were both so beautiful. AnneMarie & Laurence.

A big thankyou to everyone at Corick House who made marking a first birthday a very special occassion indeed! We where provided with a 5 star menu- designed by the chef to suit our wishes and they even made the cake on request. This is far from just a wedding venue and we will continue to return to Corick House as they never fail to amaze us with their welcome, friendliness and class service!

The singing wasn't bad either.

Many thanks again for a great day!

Our "Girls Night Out" charity fundraising dinner in Corick House was a great success.
The location perfect - great parking facility, homely yet proffessional atmosphere, conservatory ideal for our champagne reception and the function room beautifully set out and decorated. The food was delicious and enjoyed by everyone. Great to get food on a hot plate!! Staff friendly, helpful and efficient. We will definetly be back next year for another fundraiser.

Room Tip: Large conservatory and function rooms perfect for events.

As a family we have just enjoyed the most amazing night in Corick House. We had organised a surprise party for mum and Corick didn't let us down! The location was perfect, the staff extremely helpful and the food excellent. Well done Corick!

3 of 5 stars Reviewed September 26, 2012

I have to agree with Gemma b, we visited here early afternoon for something to eat, we had to look for someone to ask was food available. We felt we were actually in the way, a nuisance, we soon found out why, they were expecting a wedding party which we met just as we were leaving.
The food was mediocre, we didn't eat very much of it, no one asked why or when we were paying if all was okay, our bill was over £26.00. So it wasn't just a cup of tea. Our chips, I think, we're the long life kind, they certainly tasted like them. My drink which came from the bar, a West Coast Cooler Original, all poured into the glass, lots of ice added, no one asked. If I wanted ice, I have never had this drink served to me without the bottle also being brought to the table? ?
I have been to a wedding here & it was lovely but obviously when a wedding is on you are not really wanted. A lovely place but certainly a lot that needs addressed. I don't blame the staff but the management.
I notice. The majority of reviews seem to be. From wedding guest , brides etc not people calling in for a snack or a meal, I wonder why?

Good Evening DarcyDark
Thank-you for taking the time to write a review and express your Impression of Corick House Hotel. We have taken your constructive criticism on board.
We always aim to have adequate staff allocated to each department within the Hotel, We are very dissappointed to read that you thought otherwise. We strive to provide an excellent experience to each Individual Guest regardless of what other functions are being held on the premises. We were Somewhat taken back by your comment "Not really wanted" as we pride ourselves on being a family run business who have succeeded in creating a relaxed and family orientated ambience. We do hope you make a repeat visit to Corick House Hotel.
Kind Regards
