The Cliffs at Cupecoy or The Lighthouse at Oyster Pond

Hello,

I am planning a trip to St. Maarten with three friends. We are looking for a nice condo to rent in an area where we can walk to restaurants, shopping, bars, etc; however, we will rent a car for a few days. Through my countless hours of research, I have identified The Cliffs and The Lighthouse as two possible options. Unfortunately, I am finding it difficult to find a rental company who have properties at both locations. I would appreciate any feedback. We are looking to travel the end of the May. The draw to both places is the extremely nice and secure accommodations. We prefer a condo that is staffed 24 hours.

Thanks for your attention and I appreciate your feedback.

Both are high end, but neither are particularly in high activity areas. Both places there are a few resto/bars and a casino walking distance. No shopping to speak of.

Sxmlover,

Thanks for your response! After posting this, I found a place at Porto Cupecoy. I am guessing that it's relatively close to The Cliffs? I have already reserved a car since that's a consistent recommendation. Thanks again for taking the time to provide feedback.

Yes, just around the corner from The Cliffs.
