Beaches for toddlers?

Beaches for toddlers?

I am hoping to visit Salina this fall with my 10 month old and 2 year old.

Are there any beaches that are kid friendly so that they could play in the water and next to it?

Which ones and where are they?

Thanks

When in autumn?

The famous Pollara beach is not accessible.

Salina isn't known for its (sandy) beaches - There's a pebble beach at Lingua, a nice small pebble beach at Malfa, a black sand beach at Rinella

We are planning to go at the end of September.

Would you recommend all of those mentioned for toddlers?

Thanks again,

Cathy

Are they any sandy beaches on the islands?

No, perhaps Malfa, but the Bandiera Blu sandy beaches on Lipari are more family-friendly.

Above, that should read, a nice small beach with pebbles at Malfa. Lingua also has pebbles, and though Rinella has sand, the black sand gets very hot.

Lipari's beach at Canetto (a resort) is still the best option with a toddler.

Thanks, I'm thinking Lingua because I also love Da Alfredo for meals.

And it sounds like other children might be there which would be great!

It's a little beach at Lingua, but if you're planning on Da Alfredo, then yes, Lingua.
