“ Chinese passport holders, do they need visa to macau? ”

Some of my friends hold chinese passport, and they are in Hk for exchange, does anyone know if they need visa to visit macau or not, since there are 2 different version, one said they need, one said they dont since they have permit to go to hk.

Before this year, if a mainland Chinese had a two-way permit for visiting Hong Kong they could also visit Macau without any extra paperwork, but now most people need to make a separate application to visit Macau. The Chinese Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Hong Kong will have the exact details.

Thanx.

Thats why some people still saying that if they have Hk visa then they can go to macau too, but that explains why some people also say that they need to apply for macau visa.
