Island hopping

Howdy all

Will be landing in mykonos on the 4th June for 10 nights, was hoping to catch a ferry to naxos and then onto santorini for the day. Does anyone have any experience in getting the ferry, returns, prices for a day return?

Many thanks in advance

Ferry timetables:

www.gtp.gr

www.openseas.gr

Prices easier to search on

paleologos.forth-crs.gr/english/npgres.exe…

by starting a mock reservation

Basically, the is no way you can go on a day trip to Santorini from either Mykonos or Naxos using a regular ferry - ferry timings will not allow it. There are organised trips to Santorini from Naxos running once a week but may not start earlier than mid June.

Hi,

It takes around 4 hours (80 miles) by boat from Mykonos to Santorini, too far for a sensible daytrip.

Tinos is usually the easiest and closest islands for a daytrip as the ferries start early enough in that direction.

However daytriping Greek islands is remarkably hard because of ferry timings, limited excursion boats, and distance.

It is much easier and cheaper to do it one way and stay on those islands.
