We are heading to Mykonos for one day in October as part of our cruise and we have never been there before. We only have one day and want to get some ideas of must sees and dos - also any Ideas for places for dinner and good drinks as well? We have a group of 4 of us going on the cruise. For things to see and do, check through past posts in the Mykonos forum. Questions like yours have been posed numerous times by cruise visitors, and there are many responses with loads of information.
Thanks for your help... just getting use to the forums and searching..kind of new at this but I did find some great options.. learning a lot and finding some great info.
How much time will you have in port?
#1 : Visit Delos
# 2 Walk the town
October is not beach season, and in the possible rain- season.
Wander the town, sit out on the Marina and people watch. Take lots of photos!
10 hrs only.. afternoon until evening.
With that timeframe, you won't be able to visit Delos unless your cruise ship offers an excursion (the ferries to Delos leave Mykonos in the morning, and return in early to mid-afternoon).
If the weather is good you might be able to visit a beach for a short while, but I'd say your time would be best spent just exploring Mykonos Town.
