Bousquet Summer Park versus Jiminy Peak

Hello all:

We're a family with 2 boys (age 6 & 3) going to the Berkshires for a short vacation. We're staying in Hancock. We did go to the Jiminy Peak Adventure Park last summer. Jiminy was fun - we liked the Mountain Coaster.

I just found on the web that Bousquet mountain has a summer Park with 3 big water-slides as well as a play-pool with small water-slides that might appeal to my youngest.

Anyway, can anyone recommend Bousquet for a summer afternoon? Is it a nice, wholesome, family-friendly place? Or, should we just go to the Mountain Park at Jiminy Peak, again?

Bousquet and Jiminy are two different beasts. Jiminy has more of a refined resort feel, while Bousquet is your hometown mom-and-pop place. The Adventure Park at Bousquet is smaller than Jiminy, but it's also cheaper, and then, of course, there's the waterslides.

If you're looking to have that resort feel, don't care about the waterslides and can spend a little more, then Jiminy is your place. If you're looking for water activities, and want to stretch your dollar farther, head to Bousquet.

And when all else fails to sway you one way or the other, Bousquet does give out free cotton candy on occasion.
