Must do- walk to the flea market
Must not do - book any tours from the on site tour sellers. Go across the street and book through Julia . Her costs are about 10 -15$ less for the same tour, from the same company.
Does Julia have a website?
#1 in my book; go on a whale watching tour. I book tours with Scott's. Check out www.scottsbuceriastours.com for other ideas.
go to YO YO MO'S bar for great pizza! We will be there at the same time but staying at Rancho Banderas north of Bucerias. Have a great trip you will love that area. Maybe see you at Yo Yo"s.
Must do? The resort is beautiful, but don't be afraid to go out and explore. Walk the road or beach into the little town of Bucerias; enjoy the live music at the Drunken Duck. Take the local bus into P.V. and have a $1 margarita at the Cheeky Monkey overlooking the new malecon.
Must bring? To RDC, bring your own soaps and shampoos, facecloths, and an extension cord is helpful too.
You're going to love it there!
We buy a floatie from our dollar store for the loungers. They don't have any padding, then we give them away when we leave. Alarm clocks, faceclothes, . Read the hotel reviews and you'll get some idea also read all the questions that people have posted. That will really help.

Also check out the iguana feeding at noon by building 5.
Take in a massage down the beach towards the town of Bucerias. $20.00 for one hour.
We love the RDC and I'm missing it so bad until our next visit.
Is the thursday evening Art Walk still an option?
The Malecon in PV is a good option for an afternoon/evening
Too bad you are doing the AI thing there are many good dining options in Bucerias,
Attend a Meet and Greet, if one is scheduled during your time there; it is an excellent way to meet some of the great folks here on Trip Advisor!
As Mallardalta said, sample some of the fine restaurants in the Bucerias area, and take the time to meet some of the local residents.
