Does anyone have an email to the Royal Decameron in Bucerias, specifically for their reservations manager so we may email our request in regards to room type/building number? We're heading down in 2 weeks and I have emailed the resort at "guestservice@decameron.com.mx", an email recommended on tripadvisor, however, after several attempts at emailing them I have not yet received any kind of response (the email didn't bounce back but I can't seem to get any kind of confirmation/response from the resort in regards to my request). Does anyone have another email that I might have some success with?? Finally, has anyone had any success asking to keep their room for an additional day and just paying the difference to keep it for the day? We have a midnight flight heading back to Winnipeg (Canada), and we want to keep our room until our shuttle picks us up at 8:00 or 9:00 p.m. (I understand you can get a "late" checkout until 3:00 for a fee, but that would still leave us "roomless" for another 6-7 hours, and we want to have our room to get some sleep in the evening before our long flight home and to shower etc b/c hospitality rooms tend to be gross and only available for 1/2 hour). We're hoping we can request to keep the room for another "day" (at least until our evening departure) and just pay for that extra day when we're there. Has anyone had any success doing this, and if so, how? Any tips would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks!

We are arriving on the 30th of March (unfortunately only for one week!) and are hoping to e-mail our room requests as well.

Have you thought about phoning the hotel directly? Long distance is not that expensive from a home phone.

We have done that in the past with other resorts, the trick is sometimes to get someone with sufficient english to understand what it is you are asking. The phone number for RDC came with our

e-tickets: 011523292980226

But......I would be interested in an e-mail address as well and to know if anyone gets a response and their requests met!

Let us know how you make out.

Is this the same person as karla.carlos@decameron....

(previous posts have given her e-mail as the customer relations person)?

Have you had successful experience with this e-mail address in getting specific requests met?

Thanks!

Just last month I used the guest services email address and had a response back the next day.

As to late check out, good luck with that one, we asked, and were actually asked to leave that day. They overbook this resort by at least 20%. We checked out at noon, as requested, our room was still empty at 4pm!

You can contact them by telephone directly through long distance if you dial country code 52 and then 329 298 1136. Wait until the Spanish speaking automated voice and the press O to talk to an actual English speaking resort operator. If that doesnt work you can e mail directly to scottsbuceriastours@yahoo.com and we will call them for you directly from our office if you specify exactly what question you need answered. It seems like they are just a little slow responding and in the case of some wedding parties for example we use our bilingual staff to find out who can answer your questions..scott

We were there about a year and half ago. They never did respond to my email but they did put us where I requested - so I assumed they received, just never responded.

I think it's a little hit and miss and depends whats available at the time you arrive. If you aren't given a room in the location you prefer, you can always ask to change it when you check in. I'm sure they'd accomodate if there's a room open.
