Casa Dos Palmas or Casa de Piedra?

We're a family of five looking to spend the summer in the Nosara area. Our plan was to spend a few weeks up on the hill enjoying the view and a few weeks closer to the beach. Casa Dos Palmas and Casa de Piedra are "closer to the beach" options, but not knowing much about the area it's hard to choose.
Can anyone shed some light on this for me? Thanks.
