Taxi from Coconut Bay to Laborie

We;re interested in spending some time in Laborie. What will a taxi cost us when coming from Coconut Bay? How long is the ride?

Bon jou 01nboten,
A private land taxi one-way from CB (Vieux Fort) to Laborie costs +/- USD 40/up to three persons (USD 20/per additional person).
Have the driver wait for you. Depending on the hour, it may be hard (not impossible) to find a taxi in Laborie for the return.
OR...
Hire a private land taxi for the day and see the south of St. Lucia through the eyes of someone who loves & knows it. For example, Winson... www.winsontaxiservice.com or winson22@hotmail.com.
There is plenty to see & do - not in the guidebooks - between CB & Laborie to fill several days!

If you look on another thread on Vieux Fort forum you will see it should be easy and much cheaper to get a bus between the two resorts. That is what we intend to do. Taxis do seem to be very expensive.
