We like la taberna in the Marina, and the local malvasia on the wine list is fab too!

We had Tapas at the La Taberna a few weeks ago . Not really impressed the best things were fish based but the potatoes and meatballs were awful not very Spanish at all.

Hi, we like La Taberna at the Marina Rubicon, but only if its a hot night as indoor dining is limited, love the King prawn skewers, everything has been good and the service and nice staff makes it a good night, especially if you call in at blue note or one of the other cocktail bars before, we are going for two weeks on 6h sept, so we will defo be visiting, prob our first night as we stay in villa near there. hope this helps, we go quite often so feel free to ask any other questions on restaurants etc.......

La Taberna is good - as is the One Bar in Marina Rubicon - it's at the opposite side of the Marina to all the other restaurants - walk from Lani's snack bar towards the Chandlers and small lighthouse at the marina and you'll see it. Actually, Lanis snack bar (not the large restaurant called Lanis next door) is also ok for tapas - deep fried baby squid and Padron peppers are very good.

Definitely try El Bodegon, it's on the boardwalk directly opposite the ferry port. Great food and they also have locally produced wines (Malvasia) that are excellent.

Here's a link, you can see El Bodegon directly ahead...

Most definitely, 'Cathedral' which is nearer the small harbour area of playa blanca. We stumbled across this tapas bar on our first night and for the next two weeks went back with out family every other night. The food is beautiful!, it looks like a bar from the outside but has hidden depths. Please go here you won't regret it. On our last night we all got together and the chef kindly cooked us a paella, it was something else. We stayed at casas del sol which is the most perfect spot to walk to this restaurant from. Beautiful views over harbour. IDEAL.

You might also want to try Vino Blanco at the marina. It's not just a wine bar. Their tapas are a little bit different and they have one of the widest selections we've found of Lanzarote wines.
