Villa San't Andrea

We are thinking of booking an apartment in one of the farmhouses at Villa San't Andrea in San Casciano. Has anyone stayed there recently? I would appreciate any feedback but I want to know how long it takes to drive to the nearest town where we can eat at restaurants and shop for essentials. I am thinking it might be a bit remote.

It is definitely remote. Realistically the nearest attractive place to eat is Tavarnelle. There are a few shops in Sambuca. The roads are narrow and in places unsealed.

Thanks Tuscan for your prompt reply.

Approximately how long by car would it be to Tavernelle?

We are in our 60s and after your reply we are bit worried about driving at night to restarants in Tavernelle.
