Hi. I stayed in these apts. 2 years ago and am flying to Faro on Monday and will be staying there again from 20/27 June. They are in a great position just across the road from the entrance to the top of the village. The beach is about a 15/20 minute stroll away and it is a fantastic beach!! The apartments have a good size pool and an on-site snack bar. We stayed in a privately owned 3 bed apartment 2 years ago but have a booked a one bed thru Travel Republic this time so we dont expect it to be as 'high spec' as the last time. As long as it is clean etc. we dont mind. I am sure that you will have a fabulous holiday in Alvor.

Apartments are really well maintained and always spotless. Most are privatly owned. One bedroom apartments are little on the small side but 2 bed would be ideal for your family. There are 3 & 4 bed apartments that are much bigger. I would advise you to go for larger apartment if your budget allows. Air conditioning and all mod cons, lovely pool and snack bar area. Small complex of about 35 apartments in lovely quiet area that is only 5 mins walk from centre of Alvor. Guarenteed a good time.
