Snorkeling near Santa Teresa

Hola, is there any good spots to go snorkeling in or by Santa Teresa?

Thanks in advance.

The best snorkeling areas are on the other side of the peninsula - Cabuya side. There are less waves there and a rocky coast which creates better conditions for snorkeling. Check out Solo Bueno Tours. They specialize in snorkeling and fishing trips. Manzanillo is another good spot to snorkel as it has a lot of tide pools at low tide.

Maybe a snorkeling tour to Tortuga Island.

There are a few nice areas for snorkeling around Santa Teresa but don't expect anything like the snorkeling in the Caribbean. The fish are small ... but colorful ....this is not a snorkeling destination. One spot is the 'Swiss Beach' at the very south end of Mal Pais, bordering Cabo Blanco Reserve, the other popular spot is a large tidepool across from El Ray Patricio on the north-most end of Santa Teresa.

or, as Cubanon suggested, you can pay for a tour to Tortuga Island.
