Off road vehicles-where AREN'T they allowed!?

Hi - looking for a quiet beach in the Outer Banks that does not allow driving on the beach. Any ideas? Will be our first time here.

Right now that would be Southern Shores, Duck, Kitty Hawk and Kill Devil Hills. That won't last much longer for Kill Devil though as they allow it sometime soon. Commercial fisherman with a Dory boat can be out there as I understand it.

When are you planning to visit? Nags Head and Kill Devil Hills only allow off road vehicles to drive on the beach between October 1 to April 30. The national park service Cape Hatteras web site has a map of where vehicles are allowed and what areas are for pedestrians only.

I'm pretty sure that Corolla doesn't allow it. It's also the nicest beach, imo.
