Road Construction

I normally go around Cincinnati on my way to Lexington, Kentucky, but last year I avoided Ohio completely and went via West Virginia because of all the road construction that I read was occurring on I-75 and I-275 in the area east of Cincinnati. Can anyone tell me how much road construction I would encounter this year if I come down I-71 from Columbus, and take I-275 to I-75 South?

Unless you are driving at rush hour, I would not waste my time taking I-275 around. There certainly is no road construction around here on I- 71, which I take from Exit 15 downtown often, but I-75 from downtown Cincinnati and north has lots of orange barrels and should be avoided.

Yeah, there's really no reason to get off of 71. Take it to downtown, you eventually merge with 75. Once it becomes 71/75, just make sure you follow the signs for 75 Lexington once 71 branches off toward Louisville.
