Restaurant for Xmas Dinner? |

Can anyone recommend a nice restaurant for Christmas dinner in Honolulu? We are staying in Waikiki, so it would be nice if we didn't have to drive tooo far. I'm asking now because I assume it will be difficult to get reservations if I try to reserve too late. We love Japanese food and seafood but will eat just about anything. Thanks a lot! Christmas is a great time in Hawaii, you should have a great time. Orchids at the Halekulani and the Beachhouse at the Moana will have great decorations and are nice location. Nobu at the Parc Hotel, Nick's Fishmarket and the Hau Tree Lani at the New Otani are other places to look into. Report as inappropriate | ||||||

If you like Japanese food, the Hawaii Prince Hotel on Ala Moana Boulevard will have buffets for Christmas that has japanese offerings. If you like seafood, anyone of Sam Choy's restaurants will have large buffets that focus on seafood. The closest to you in Waikiki will be his restaurant on Kapahulu Avenue. Locals frequent this place for large portions and buffet. Anywhere in Waikiki will have fixed price menus or buffets for the holidays and they focus heavily on seafood. Very nice places where locals have special dinners...... Hau Tree Lanai Michelle's Hy's Steak House (that's where we are going) La Mer a 5 star, jacket requested or at least a long sleeve shirt Top of Waikiki Don't wait too long to make res. Report as inappropriate | ||||||
