Does it look like the river might dry up this year? Thinking about staying at south or north fork in August but skeptical about any water left at that time.

I was up there last week and there was plenty of water. As a kid I used to swim up there all the time. I've seen the river get low but can't recall ever seeing it go dry. Try calling the ranger station up at Sequoia Park and see if they can give you a better idea.
