Dining on the River

We have stopeed by the gateway each year for 7 years, and while vacationing in Sequoia Park.

The view is really nice on a summers evening, and the staff has always been really nice.

While the burgers and salads are great, the Bear-Cut New York Steak is out of this world, and when you ask, there are really nice specials like fresh fish and specialty dinners "off the menu".

The locals all told us to order it "our way" and ask for just what you want. We did, and wow.....

Fully emerse yourself in the local setting, and engage the staff -and owners, to enjoy what they meant for you to enjoy. Its a family place that cares about gerat food and enjoying the visit. Sit like your in a Denny's and maybe that's what you might get!

Hi k2atslo,

You wrote about dining on the river but did not give the name of the restaurant. We plan to visit there soon. Please post the name of the restaurant so we can make our trip complete. Thanks much.
