Zoo (not on the Riverwalk) is open, when my kids were young that used to be a family tradition. Friday is the River Parade - lots to see and do.

Lots of the things are open Thanksgiving Day & yes the Tower of the America's is open.

I'm researching this myself. Some of the links above are restaurants that are either not open or are not doing a Thanksgiving Day Meal. I'm looking for a nice buffet-style brunch. I ruled out anything over $40 pp (La Mansion Del Rio)

This is what I have so far:

1. Grand Hyatt San Antonio

The buffet is served noon-9 p.m. Mixed salads, seviche bar and a fajita station are offered along with mole-rubbed turkey with chipotle-cranberry sauce, roasted poblano cornbread stuffing, boniato sweet potato mash, fried plantains and roasted vegetables. Finish with the dessert buffet. Cost is $18 per person.

2. Hyatt Regency Hill Country Resort and Spa

Holiday brunch hours are 10:30 a.m.-2:30 p.m. Selections from the buffet are turkey, beef strip loin, ham, grilled chicken breast, omelets and pasta made to order. Children's buffet offered. Adults dine for $42.95, seniors 60 and older for $35, and children ages 5-12 for $21.50.

3. Westin La Cantera Resort

The Thanksgiving buffet will be 10:30 a.m.-2:30 p.m. It features turkey, prime rib roast, ham, roast pork loin and orange roughy. Complimentary champagne and mimosas included. 5. Las Ramblas
