My wife and I are spending Jan/Feb/Mar in Tucson. Are there any golf courses that sell unlimited golf passes or multiple round passes for those months at a reasonable price.

Thanks

Brent

The market is changing a bit with the economy as it is. Check the local papers when you get here. I'm sure you'll be able to find golf courses that you can play with somewhat discounted fees for multiple rounds. I wouldn't expect unlimited play unless you are prepared to pay for a short term membership. But as I said, conditions may change.

Check the following web sites: golf now and ez links; although they don't offer multiple passes, they do offer really good daily rates on some of the better courses in Tucson. Just returned from a two week vacation, played 8 times, with an average of 36.00 per round. Courses: Vistoso, Arizona National, Star Pass, Crooked Tree, Del Ulrich, Tucson National(both Catalina and Sonoran courses), Conquistator(both courses). There are several others that offer specials, check the local papers for ads.

The prices mentioned by joeandgail are what it costs to play our muniucipal courses, so if you can get the better courses for that, check it out thoroughly. The courses they mentioned normally go for as much as $200 a round.

Winter Tee times are more expensive here in Tucson especially for higher end courses like Star Pass, Vistoso and El Conquistador. As bobbear mentioned these courses can costs $200.00, unless you find specials were you can play these awesome courses for dirt cheap. I have managed to play these courses at an average of $30.00. These are usually advance purchase specials; usually you can schedule a tee time on the same day or 2 to 3 days in advance. As I write this message the prices for El Conquistador and Arizona National are $31 and $45 respectively. The website is golfnow.com

If you are looking for a short term membership, you can try www.playthepines.com. I'm not sure if they still offer short term golf membership.
