Has anyone ever been here? What is the lowest slot $ they have? Also is there free drinks if you are gambling in the casino??

Thanks Much

I don't gamble if any. For your information, there are actually 2.

The 'old' Desert Diamond recently recently renovated to include and expansion and a hotel. This the casino southwest of Tucson Airport (next to airport). The other is located further south just off of I-19 (10 miles) from Tucson. That is the Desert Diamond 2.

As I recall the nickel seem to be throughout the casino. Though there are pennies as well.

Free drinks seem an unusual feature in a casino unless possibly your a paying member in a Las Vegas casino.

There are not too many perks, so don't count on getting anything free.

I went to the Desert Diamond about 1 month ago and will never go back. Although they remodeled it the place was SO SMOKEY when I walked through the doors it was awful ! Because it is close to get to it was also very crowded and the dealers were not very friendly. I have to say though we ate at their steakhouse and it was excellent - I mean really really good!

On the other hand Casino del Sol and Casino of the Sun are both much nicer, less crowded, not smokey (although plenty of people smoke) and the dealers are friendly and helpful.

Oh yeah, to your question - there are penny machines, quarter machine, dollar machines and the lowest 21 table is a $5 min. I've been offered sodas and water, but not alcohol for free. It's not Las Vegas...

Good Luck !
