I believe it's only about 3/4 of a mile from the downtown SLC Amtrack station to the Sherton that's along Sixth Ave. South. I'd check first to see if the Sheraton doesn't have a shuttle van to pick you up due to the relatively short distance? Not a great palce to be very long that night; so I'd call the Sheraton Hotel directly several days in advance to possibily arrange for a late arrival pick up time!
