Robert,

No matter which sailing you want to catch, you should have a reservation -- online or call (250) 386-2202 or (360) 457-4491. if you call then you can ask them about parking; i think they let vehicles that are inside the gates after the last sailing stay overnight but am not positive. yes you can park on the safeway lot overnight.

thanks- make the trip home via the Coho a bit less of an adventure and less of a worry.

Wal-mart is also a favorite cheapo RV parking spot, and it's less than 10 minutes from the dock. If you call Black Ball, you can get an idea if whether or not the ferry will be full and whether or not you NEED a reservation. They are happy to help.

SirJohn1st, your posts are confusing with the OP who will be in Port Angeles for that ferry (which terminal is not located in Port Townsend). What exactly are you asking? Do you want to start a new post? Are you asking where to park in Port Angeles for the Coho? Or are you asking about the ferry from Port Townsend to Coupeville on Whidbey Island?
