Christmas Ship cruises through December 23rd. argosycruises.com/themecruises/xmasSchedule.…
The lead ships are typically accompanied by a parade of other lighted ships of all kinds. There is a chorus or musical group on board and typically they stop near a shore point where people gathered will meet to watch the ships, sing, have a bonfire etc.
I joined the shore festivities for the finale last year at Gasworks park and it was pretty magical. The number of boats far outstripped what I imagined. Here is a video I found. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2NPyBTviDOw
Most of the lead boat spots are sold for those who want to be on the water but there are dates where there are spots on the lead boat or a parade boat. Click the links for the departure points and stopping points to see the routes and point where you can watch.
Another that will be interesting (and that is still available) departs from Shilshole Marine in Ballard on December 18th, passes through the locks and will stop at Golden Gardens where there will be a beach bonfire. The Dickens Carolers will perform.
A few more:
"Holiday Pops" - Seattle Symphony Tonight and Tomorrow for a matinee (12/8 and 9)
Also at Benaroya hall
"Baby It's Cold Outside" with the Seattle Men's Chorus
Also 12/16, 12/20, 21 and 22
"Black Nativity" at the Moore Theater through the 23rd.
Pacific NW Ballet's "Nutcracker" at McCaw Hall
