The Oceanaire downtown

Saltys on Alki

Both fairly pricey but delicious!

In addition to the above, I also like Etta's.

I will be traveling with a small dog. How are the patio policy for dogs in Seattle? Any good patios in the Pike Place area?

We ended up going to Ray's Boathouse. The view was spectacular! Food and Service was excellent as well. Definitely will be back.

In the Pike Place area I've taken my dog to Le Pitchet - french bistro, little patio, dog friendly.

Oceanaire is a "corporate" restaurant owned by the same folks who own Bucca de Beppo from Minneapolis - I wouldn't recommend it for a "Seattle" experience.

Flying Fish as others have mentioned - get the whole fried fish!

McCormick & Schmidt

Actually, it's McCormick and Schmicks. Since they have restaurants all over the US, I would recommend Anthony's or Ivar's which are unique to the Northwest.

thebrooklyn.com if you like wild salmon - it is the best we have had in many years of travel to the west coast including B.C.

they have oysters as well which are reduced for the happy hour I do not eat them
