Correct is to pronounce Brač with a tch at the end-like watch.

In old Roman texts it was called Bratia, Bretia and Bractia.

In local dialect on the island they pronounce it differently- Brac, but I am not able to explain the pronunciation of "c" because it does not exist in English.

Thank you so much Jelsa!

My grandmother is from Skrip on the Island of Brac. I have been there twice. My grandmother always pronounced it like you said with the "tch" but some people say it the other way. Just wanted to make sure! Again, Thanks so much for your quick reply.
