Smoking Hotel Suggestions -French Quarter

I am looking for a hotel in the French quarter that would allow smoking. A courtyard or balcony would bea sufficient as I totally expect the rooms to be non-smoking. Price range is $150 per night. I've tried looking online but most hotel websites state that their hotel is non-smoking(rooms) but no real information about courtyards or balconies.

I'm looking for a room in the French Quarter in late June. Do most hotels allow smoking on their balconies or court yards?

We were just there this past November and stayed at the Hotel Ste Marie. They allow smoking on their balconies. Lovely little hotel in a great location. However, I suggest getting a room on the courtyard side because you will hear tons of street noise starting at 3:00am if you have a room facing the street. Garbage trucks every morning starting their pick-ups as well as other service type vehicles.

The Hotel St. Marie does allow smoking on the balconies. We were just there last week. They also will guarantee a balcony room. I too would recommend a courtyard room if you are a light sleeper.
