Both hotels are really great, but the Concourse is only one block from State Street to the Hyatt's three. The Hyatt is more contemporary with a cafe with grab and go food items in the lobby, whereas the Concourse has a full restaurant and a separate bar on its first floor.

If you are a point collector, the Hyatt is the place for you, but we use the Concourse for our Madison guests. It is a larger hotel with an indoor pool, if that appeals. The Hyatt is a smaller hotel with an Indian restaurant across the street and a Latin restaurant around the corner. It is one block from a grocery store, if you value access to one.
