Hyatt Place or Madison Concourse

We are taking our daughter to visit UM on the 28th. We're trying to decide between staying at the hyatt place or the concourse. prices are similar. which hotel is nicer, closer to school and state street.

Both hotels are really great, but the Concourse is only one block from State Street to the Hyatt's three. The Hyatt is more contemporary with a cafe with grab and go food items in the lobby, whereas the Concourse has a full restaurant and a separate bar on its first floor.

If you are a point collector, the Hyatt is the place for you, but we use the Concourse for our Madison guests. It is a larger hotel with an indoor pool, if that appeals. The Hyatt is a smaller hotel with an Indian restaurant across the street and a Latin restaurant around the corner. It is one block from a grocery store, if you value access to one.

I hope that you have a great trip, and the weather is good while you are here!
