Beachside Dining and Bars

Can anyone tell me whether there are some decent bars/restaurants beachside at Legian? From all the reviews of Jimbarayn Bay (sp?!) I am not that keen to check it out and figure there must be other beachside restaurants away from there that sell fantastic seafood at a better price?

Any differences between J/Bay and other beaches for dinner would be appreciated?

Thanks in advance

The beach strip from Jayakarta has fantastic restaurants.

Check out Blue Ocean, Seaside for excellent seafood.

The area where Linda mentions are great. Just know that you will not be sitting with your feet in the sand here, they are restaurants across the road from the beach. If you want feet in the sand then Jimbaran Bay or Sanur offer these types of restaurants.

This area has indeed great restaurants directly facing the see but across the road (more a parking than an open road).

The streets around also do have a few nice options.

And Bintang Time on the beach before diner is priceless.

Blue Ocean, Lanai, Zanzibar facing the sea or Warung 66 (is it café 66 ?) or Jl 66.

I would try the Bali Niksoma hotel for dining, right on beach, excellent food, great prices, can hear and see the waves, great cafe music.

Hi Linda has pointed you in the right direction.I would also try La Luciola in Seminyak for that special meal, your feet are not in the sand however before dinner and after you can sit on the beach., ambience and food is to die for.

Have a wonderful holiday

La Lucciola would definitely get my vote.

It is at the beach at Petittenget, just beyond the Oberoi, Seminyak.

You may need to book, as it gets busy.

Stunning ocean views and crashing waves and coconut trees make for a wonderful atmosphere.

The service and food are still great, even after all these years!!
