Looking for restaurants that will open on Christmas Day

Its a special day and we will be away from home. We're looking for a special lunch. It doesnt have to be traditional Christmas fare!!

Where in Brooklyn will you be? Brooklyn is larger and more populous than Paris, so you'll need to narrow things down a bit.

Genrally the Chinese restaurants all over the city are open on Christmas day. It's a busy day for them, since most other places are closed. Most neighborhoods will have several. Chinese food is a Christmas tradition among New York Jews since we don't celebrate Christmas and aren't likely to have plans with our extended families. It's a good day to check out Manhattan's Chinatown. (Take anyone of a number of subway lines to Canal Street.) You can get directions using MTA.info. Subways run 24/7 even on Christmas.
