Need Help w/ Last Minute Trip....

I decided to take my hubby on trip to Savannah this weekend to celebrate his b-day, I originally planned on going to Panama City Beach but changed @ last minute. I have a few questions for you guys.......

Does anyone know of a decent place to stay for about $100/night?

Where should I take him to eat? He loves steaks. So far I'm considering the Chart House or Tony Roma's (ribs)????

We would like to have drinks/fun on River Street on Friday/Saturday night........what are the good spots for early 30's to hang??

Best Breakfast?

Does Savannah have a comedy club?

Thanks alot!

I would call the hotels downtown, the Hyatt, The Marriott, The Hilton Garden, The Doubletree, all are on Bay Street. Call them direct not the 800 number and see what rate you can get. It is short notice and selling a room cheap is better than leaving it empty.

Charthouse is a good choice for a great steak.

Wander around the river and City Market, you will find a place and some music you like.

Right across the ramp from the charthouse back off of River Street is the cobblestone cafe, very good breakfast or J Christophers at Liberty and Abercorn.

No stand up comedy club but Savannah Smiles, a dueling pianos club just off Bay Street will make your stomach hurt you will laugh so much.
