What's your budget? A lot of big name hotels around the airport. Most are in the 3.5 star range. All are very reasonable, but again, not sure what your budget is.

I like Starwood properties (there is an Aloft at the airport, around $100/night).

These two hotels: http://sn.im/jacksonville_plaza & http://sn.im/jax_microtel in my opinion are the two best as far as cleanliness and being up-to date of the lower priced hotels in the airport area.

$100/nt or less would be good. As long as it's clean. Staying there for a night and then heading to Orlando.

I couldn't get your first link to open. I'm assuming it's called the JAX Plaza Hotel and Suites on Duval Street?

There's just about every chain on the airport exit road which called Airport Rd. including a Best Western, Travelodge, Red Roof, Days Inn etc.

Hello SWN,

If you have a car, you can just drive around the airport area and pick a hotel that looks good to you. There is a range of hotels from cheap to moderately expensive.

If you are driving down to Jacksonville, you can pick up a Florida Hotel coupon magazine. There are multiple coupons in there for Jacksonville airport hotels.

I haven't heard anything bad about any of the airport hotels.

If you want to go most of the way through Jacksonville on I-95 before you stop, like another 20 or 30 minutes of driving beyond the airport exit, there are a number of fairly inexpensive hotels in the northwest corner of I-95 and Butler Blvd, which is I-95 Exit #344. There are hotels there like Jamison Inn, La Quinta, Courtyard and Fairfield Inn and Suites, Extended Stay America, Red Roof Inn. There is a Cracker Barrel restaurant there too.

One of the best hotel deals in Jacksonville is Sun Suites, 8555 Baymeadows Way, Jacksonville, FL 32256‎. (904) 421-3440 · sunsuites.com Take Exit #340 off I-95 and head west. At the second traffic light (Baymeadows Way), turn left (south). Sun Suites is a short block down that road. A bank and Red Lobster. are on the corner where you turn.

Have a nice trip!
