Lowest and Shortest Bridge Questions

I'll be traveling from the north on Route 95 heading to Orlando. I have a major fear of heights. I'm loooking for the lowest and shortest bridge in Jacksonville to get over the river. Thanks for any help.

The Main Street Bridge (formal name John Alsop Bridge) is a good bet for you. Although it's out of your way, it's probably the lowest bridge so that may help with your fears. You can do it!

I'd just stay on 95 and don't look to your left or right. Stay in one of the center lanes. The bridges may be high, but they're short. Best of luck.

Take the bypass around Jacksonville, the west side will be pretty easy going. My husband also has a fear of bridges and we go straight thru Jax on 95 as suggested all the time and he seems to do ok. He will usually not cross bridges that have spans on them such as the one in Charleston.

Thanks for all of the help. I ended up taking the Main Street Bridge. Piece of cake. And only added about 5 minutes to my trip. Thanks again.
