I will be in Jacksonville for a conference in the last week of March. Once the conference is over, my husband and I will have a full week of holidays. I'm hoping those familiar with the area would have suggestions. We are able to rent a car to travel to other destinations. Any ideas? What about Georgia? Is it possible to pick up a cruise from the city heading somewhere warm? Looking forward to your suggestions.

Anne, though there is much to do in our beautiful city, we are also nearby other great places, i.e. 35 miles to St. Augustine, or 100 miles to Savannah, GA. You could also take a 4 to 5 day Carnival cruise to the Bahamas.
