Stay downtown at the Hotel Bethlehem, lots of options within walking distance, plus the Hotel bar itself.

Stay at the Hotel Bethlehem. There is a bar and two restaurants inside. It is right on Main st in Bethlehem. There are quite a few bars within a 2 minute walk as well. www.hotelbethlehem.com

I'm not a night club person, but "the" night club in Bethlehem, from what I'm told, is http://www.club40below.com/.

The Hotel Bethlehem is very nice, and it's about a quarter mile away from 40 Below.

If you don't consider that to be "stumbling distance", the Hyatt Place on West North Street is a block away from the club.

Across the bridge in South Bethlehem is Tally Ho, the Funhouse and Godfrey Daniels. For any of these, the Comfort Suites on West Third Street is your best bet.

I would think twice about 40 Below. It's a dump and the clientele are shady at best and ghetto in reality.

I've never been to 40 Below, so I can't vouch.

Tally Ho is a college bar if you're into that. The Funhouse and Godfrey Daniels both have live music.

I would second (or third or fourth...) staying in downtown Bethlehem...Hotel Bethlehem or Hyatt Place. There is plenty within short walking distance.

I know a lot of folks who really like to go to the Best Western up off of 512 in Bethlehem (they have a DJ or band most weekend evenings), but I've never been so I can't really comment. And if you don't like it, there's nothing else up that way.

Yep, Hotel Bethlehem! If you change your mind and want to visit the Casino, I believe they have a shuttle service.

Walk outside the hotel and you will have your pick of places to go and things to do!

I think 40 below was closed by the LCB, but not sure. The hotel at the sands is very nice and is connected to the event center and has several bars and lounges there. Hotel Bethlehem is a great place too!

Hyatt Place is in a good location and I'll be staying there in April for the second time. Very nice hotel that has a free shuttle if one needs a ride anywhere in town, not to mention a complimentary breakfast. The best part is getting both rooms for $55 on Priceline. They do serve alcohol in the lobby.

I'll be in Bethlehem for a show at the Sands. The Hyatt is also located across from the main bus terminal and public transportation. You have a choice of walking, driving, free shuttle, bus or grabbing a taxi.
