Laura, I gave you an image of the full schedule for the New Haven line in my link, but you either did not look at it, or are not understanding what you are looking at. Let's try again -- look at the schedule: To the right of the main timetable of trains between New York and New Haven there is a separate listing just for the line to Danbury. That schedule shows you that the first train with a direct link to the Danbury line leaves Grand Central at 8:07, arrives in South Norwalk at 9:06, and the connecting train to Danbury leaves South Norwalk at 9:11. The next train with a direct link to the Danbury line leaves Grand Central at 11:07, arrives at South Norwalk at 12:06, and the connecting train to Danbury leaves South Norwalk at 12:11. There is no other connecting train between those two -- so while you can leave Grand Central at 9:07 in order to arrive at South Norwalk at 10:06, or at 10:07 in order to arrive at 11:04, unless you have a real desire to explore the environs of the South Norwalk train station you are wasting your time, because there simply is no connecting train before the train to Danbury that connects with the train that leaves Grand Central at 11:07.
This is all beginning to sound a lot like Dorothy Sayers' "The Five Red Herrings", isn't it?
