I am trying to find a flight in August going the opposite way, NYC to Pittsburgh. I am leaving NYC on a Tuesday and returning the following morning. I have found a ticket for $260. Not sure if it would be the same in the opposite direction. I looked on Travelocity to get all the prices then booked on the airline website.

Just a quick check shows that USAir and Independence Air have cheaper flights to Newark. But your price is pretty low for LGA.

If it's non stop. Look on mobissimo.com for options. I see fares as low as $260 but requires stops or change of planes. I think $336 is lowest nonstop and that's to JFK or EWR.

Just saw that USAir is having a special this week PIT to EWR for $168 r/t.

$364 sounds very high. That's what I paid for my RT ticket...and I'm coming from LA.

Check out the web site www.ITASoftware.com You can not purchase through the site, but rather find the best deal, then book directly with the airline. One the first page of the site, click on "Looking for airfare?" on the next page that pops up, click on "guest user". It's pretty straight forward from there. I have found the best rate using this site about 90% of the time. I'd check other local airports too.
