Other Xmas events besides touring the Biltmore

Hello everyone,

My mom, aunt, and I will be visiting Asheville from December 6th-9th. Yes we will be visiting the Biltmore and everything it has to offer. We do have an extra day/night that we do not have any plans for yet. i was wondering if there were any other christmas events going on in Asheville we could consider? I didnt know if there were a tour of homes events, xmas lights you can view in other areas, or anything else that has to do with xmas.

LaZoom Comedy tours. AWESOME!!!!

The National Gingerbread House competition is at the Grove Park Inn. FYI-they are charging to park now -$10+

The Grove Arcade downtown will also be decorated and have an area with Gingerbread houses. A lot of the downtown shop windows are decorated for the holidays. The Biltmore Village is decorated and a nice shopping area.

Dec 8th there is a Xmas Parade in Black Mountain. Nice area to the east of Asheville.
