11 night road trip from baltimore to coastal maine and cape cod.

how many nights should we allot for bar harbor? 3 or 4?

Four nights will give you three full days and there is plenty to do to fill a week !

Thanks. That's what I was thinking.

So we have 6 nights total for coastal Maine. Can anyone recommend 2 good towns/B&Bs or hotel that would be a good stop over for 1 night each to/from Bar Harbor (coming up the coast from Newport and then going back down the coast to Cape Cod).

Reasonably priced under $200 night

pattyann -- When are you coming? Timing can have a big impact on lodging rates in coastal communities?..... Trying to stick to your $200 per night will produce different suggestions for June-July-August than for Spring or late Fall travel....
